Quarry Township is one of eleven townships in Jersey County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2000 census, the population was 1,090[1]. The name of the township was changed from Grafton Township on April 1, 1880.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, Quarry Township covers an area of 23.1 square miles (60 km2); of this, 20.46 square miles (53.0 km2) (88.58 percent) is land and 2.64 square miles (6.8 km2) (11.42 percent) is water.
